A native of Milwaukee, Ann grew up in a single-parent household, where her mom inspired her to pursue things she loved. For Ann, that was music. After high school, she entered a professional music performance program with the Fine Arts Quartet at the University of Wisconsin.
Later, she chose ‘a more practical route’ and transferred to the University of Chicago to study economics. That led to positions at Booz Allen, Citibank and U.S. Trust, before moving to Bridgewater in 2007. One more thing about Ann — she’s crazy about Brahms, especially the violin sonatas.
